Common questions
How often should I mow my lawn in Harrisburg?+
Most cool-season lawns in the Harrisburg area do best on a weekly schedule from April through October. During slower growth we can shift to every 10–14 days.
Do you bag the clippings?+
By default we mulch clippings back into the lawn — it feeds the soil. If you'd prefer bagging (for example after a long absence), let us know and we'll handle it.
What if it rains on my service day?+
We reschedule to the next dry day and keep you posted by text. Wet mowing damages turf and leaves clumps, so we don't force it.
Do you mow small city lots?+
Yes — a lot of our regulars are compact yards in Midtown, Uptown, and Susquehanna Township.
Are you insured?+
Yes. Fili's Lawn Care LLC is fully insured for your property and our crew.
Do I need to be home?+
Nope. As long as we can access the yard, most customers never need to be home.
