What kind of mulch do you install?+
We install premium hardwood, dyed black, dyed brown, and natural cedar mulches. If you have a preferred product, we can source it.
How often should mulch be refreshed?+
Most beds benefit from a top-off every year and a full refresh every 2 years.
Can you install rock or stone instead?+
Yes — decorative stone and river rock installs are available as an add-on.
Do you remove old mulch first?+
Only when old mulch is matted, moldy, or built up too deep. Otherwise we top-off, which is more cost-effective.
When is the best time to mulch?+
Late April through early June for full-season benefit, though we install through the fall.
